From bible study, we have seen that any Christian who truly desires to   go to heaven must walk in love, have a pure heart, and live in holiness within and without. Matthew 5:8 says, “Blessed a the pure in heart for they shall see God. Hebrews 12:14 says “follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see he Lord.
Heaven is not for everybody, it is not for the wicked and for Christians who refuse to repent from their sin.  We must not allow wealth, or comfort of position o derail us on our way to Heaven.  Fix your mind on the things eternal and not at the things which are seen, but at the things temporal. 1 Corinthians 4:18 says “We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which ae not seen are eternal.”

We should wake up every day looking forward to meeting our Lord and Saviour in Heaven.  Despite the challenges and trials of this present life, the joy and glory that is set before us in Heaven is unimaginable and unspeakable. Hebrews 12:1 says; “Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher or our faith who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” 2 Corinthians. 4:17 says; “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory”.I pray that we shall receive the grace and wisdom from above to cultivate the virtues and characteristics of a heaven-bound Christian; and when the Lord comes like a thief in the night, we shall not be left behind, in the name of Jesus.  Amen.
