The reality of Divine plan

Every step you take now either takes you forward or backward.  One of the greatest mishaps that can ever happen to a man is so lacking an idea of where he is going and how to get there.  Many have rushed into certain open doors, only to discover that they were traps in disguise.  Others have been deceived by the glitter of certain business propositions, and have come to realize that not all that glitters are gold.

We greatly need God’s direction, because, often, the decisions we make in life are based on our assessment, which may not be correct.  Everything may seem right and may appear satisfactory to the human eye., but at the end of it is frustration, stagnation, and untimely death.  I believe it is because of this truth that the writer of Proverbs 14: 12. Verbatim in chapter 16:25 perhaps for double emphases.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man that seems but the end, therefore, is the way of death.  Proverbs right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.  Proverbs 14:12 (Itsy)

Man, even at his best mental state, is incapable of making reliable and durable decisions.  He may lay all his cards on the table, or weigh his decisions on the scales of intellectualism, events, and facts.  His colleagues may even approve his ideas which seemeth right by their assessment; but “the end thereof is the way of sin.

Discover God’s plan

God is a God of plan and purpose.  He created all things with a specific objective in mind.  Just like a manufacturer will naturally create a product with a set functionality in mind, you are created to fulfill a definite purpose on the planet earth. No one is on earth by accident, neither are you a creature of chance.  You belong to a well-defined position in life.  God has a plan for your life and the choice of this plan to materialize is not yours to make, you must have to discover it.  Once you locate it and run faithfully, it will make you an outstanding in the field.  To be ignorant of your place in God’s plan can lead to a life of toiling and frustration. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5.  (Itsy).

From time to time, someone says, “My parents didn’t plan me. I was an accident no one expected.” People use this as an excuse for not accepting more responsibility in life, claiming that they are accidents who came into the world by mistake and aren’t even supposed to be here!

Well, I want to tell you that even though we may have been a surprise to our parents, we were not a surprise to God! The Bible teaches that long before you or I were ever conceived in our mothers’ wombs, God already knew us and was calling us to be His children with a special purpose to fulfill in this world.

What is Direction

How do you find wisdom today? Where do you go to have your problems solved and questions answered? The answer is to go to the source of all wisdom, God Himself. He is the one who created you—He has placed His gifts and callings within you and understands their worth. Certainly, He is a good steward of His gifts and will develop them to their maturity.

God will lead you along a path that will fulfill His plans for your life. He is the one who knows the direction you are to follow and will lead accordingly. God is also the one who understands your past and future He has intrinsic knowledge of your weaknesses and strengths. The Lord will protect you, yet challenge you to grow in your Christian walk.

 Locating God’s Direction

God had a plan for your life before He ever formed you in your mother’s womb.  He set you apart for a divine purpose on the earth even before you were born just like Jeremiah. Only after yours been saved that you stepped into that divine plan.  Salvation brought you into the mystery of predestination.

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son to me, that I might preach him among the heathen…… Galatians 1: 15-16.  Paul was separated for his assignment from his mother’s womb.  It explains why a man like him could get save in the first place, and I believe the same goes for you and I.  Looking back at where you came from and bearing in mind some of the things you were involved in, there is absolutely no way you could have been saved, if God hadn’t separated you from the womb.  Predestination is a great mystery.

The Sufferings of Paul. Galatians 1:13 “For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it.” Galatians 1:23. “But they we are hearing only, “He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.” Philippians 3:6. “Concerning zeal, persecuting the church . . . “1 Timothy 1:13 “. . . I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man.”

Suffering would be a Part of Paul’s Christian Life. The Lord spoke to Ananias concerning Paul’s suffering Acts 9:15-16. “But the Lord said to him, ‘Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.’” The Lord’s word to Ananias certainly came true.

Was Paul Persecuted?

Did He Indeed Suffer as a Christian?

2 Corinthians 4:8-12… We are perplexed, but not in despair;   persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed —    always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.   For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So, then death is working in us, but life in you.” Galatians 5:11

“And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.” 2 Timothy 3:10-11 “But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra — what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 1 Corinthians 15:30-32. “

And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour? I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” 2 Corinthians 4:7-18.  “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

Can God change your life?

God Loves You.

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life — forever. “God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die.” Jesus said, “I came so that everyone would have life, and have it to its fullest.”

Since God planned for us to have peace and life, why are we so far from God?

We are separated from God.

Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God. “All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness.” Sin is choosing to say or do or think things that are against God’s plan. “The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God’s gift is an eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

There is only one way to reach God.

Jesus Christ Died for our Sins

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.”There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only One who can bring us to God.” “Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God.”

God has provided the only way – we must make the choice.

We Must Receive Christ.

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and receive Him as our Saviour and serve Him as our Lord. “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believed on His name.”Would you like to give your life over to Jesus Christ right now? If so, you can pray the following prayer points

Dear Lord Jesus,

  • My Father, If I am walking opposite to You, STOP me by fire! In the name of Jesus.
  • Anointing that breaks the yoke; BREAK every yoke over my destiny, in the name of Jesus.  (Itsy)
  • Every altar assigned to sacrifice my progress, DIE In the name of Jesus.
  • The Satanic contention, satanic injunction, satanic mandate programmed against my destiny, die in the name of Jesus.
